These terms and conditions govern the use of the Noghotok.com website. By using this site, you indicate that you have read and understand these terms and conditions below and that you agree to abide by them at all times.
Definition
Herein "we" or "visitor" or "our website" or "website" refers to Noghotok.com.
"You" here refers to the person visiting the Website.
Intellectual Property
All content published on the Noghotok.com website is the property of the website owner. This includes but is not limited to text, images, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything else that contributes to the composition of the website.
User Information
By posting on our website, you agree not to violate these terms and applicable laws of Bangladesh. When you post any information you agree to the following.
a) Authenticity of data
1. You provide accurate information.
2. Noghotok.com is not responsible for any information you provide or anything you post.
3. You shall not post anything that goes against the norms of society and harmful things that violate the law.
b) Data privacy
1. Noghotok.com may ask for your email and mobile number and share it with other users or visitors.
2. Noghotok.com may display your personal information online as part of your Biodata.
3. Noghotok.com or any visitor or any user may contact you through any communication method based on the contact information you provide.
4. Noghotok.com will endeavor to protect your data to the best of its ability but Noghotok.com shall not be responsible for any data breach. In this case, you must agree to follow our Privacy Policy which can be read at noghotok.com/privacy/
Marriage Liability
Noghotok is a matchmaking platform that helps users search for and connect with potential life partners, a process that can take time and may begin before a user reaches the legal age for marriage. Using Noghotok to search for or connect with a potential partner does not itself constitute a marriage.
Any actual marriage, however, must take place strictly in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, including the minimum marriage age (18 for women and 21 for men). Noghotok does not solemnize, register, or settle marriages and takes no part in the marriage itself. Noghotok shall not be liable for any marriage entered into by its users that is unlawful, including any marriage that violates the minimum age or any other requirement under Bangladeshi law.
Limitation of Liability
The owners of Noghotok.com, its agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries shall not be liable for any actions, claims, damages, losses and expenses arising out of your use of the website and shall not owe Noghotok.com any legal fees.
Applicable Law
Any relevant terms, policies and notices shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh without giving effect to any principles of conflict of laws. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of Bangladesh in any dispute arising out of or related to the Website, or the relevant terms, policies and notices.
Dispute Resolution
In any exception, if Noghotok.com is unable to resolve any dispute through informal negotiation, you and Noghotok.com may agree to submit the matter to a mediator and, failing mediation, to an arbitrator. The decision of the arbitrator is final and binding. Any mediator and arbitrator must be impartial and acceptable to Noghotok.com and you. The cost of mediation and arbitration shall be paid 100% by you. Noghotok.com shall not be liable for costs incurred in any mediation process or arbitration process.
Clause in Conflict with Law
If at any time any applicable provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be inconsistent or illegal under law, those provisions shall be deemed null and void and removed from these Terms. All other provisions shall not be affected by the removal and the remaining terms shall be deemed valid.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
The Terms may be amended from time to time to maintain compliance with the law. We will notify users by posting updated terms and the date of update will be noted at the top of this document. So you are also advised to visit this Terms and Conditions page from time to time.
Credit Validity
Credits added to your wallet are valid for 1 year, regardless of the top-up amount.
A new top-up extends the validity further, subject to the maximum shown on the pricing page. Bonus and free Credits follow the same validity rules. When the validity expires, unused Credits are forfeited and are non-refundable. We will remind you before expiry where a notification channel is available.
Payment Options
You can purchase Credits on Noghotok using either of the following methods:
- Online Payment (EPS): Pay instantly and securely through Easy Payment System (EPS), a Bangladesh Bank-licensed payment gateway, using cards (Visa / Mastercard) and mobile financial services (bKash, Nagad). Credits are added to your account automatically on successful payment. Noghotok shall not be liable for any failed or delayed Credit top-up unless the payment is actually received by Noghotok, or a successful-transaction acknowledgement/receipt is received from EPS.
- Google Play Billing: Where available in the Android app, you may buy Credits through Google Play Billing. The purchase must be linked to the correct NoGhotok account and is processed under Google Play payment and refund rules.
- Manual Payment (Bangla QR): Scan the Bangla QR code using your mobile banking or MFS app to pay manually. Your Credits are added once the payment is verified. Noghotok shall not be liable for any failed or unverified Credit top-up unless the payment is actually received by Noghotok, or the transaction is successfully verified via bKash/Nagad.
All payments are processed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and converted into Credits immediately.
Refund Policy Summary
If a proposal you send gets no response -- whether seen or unseen -- within 72 hours, 100% of the Credits used are refunded automatically to your balance. If it is declined, 80% is refunded. If you withdraw it yourself, 80% is refunded. If an admin cancels it, 100% (full) is refunded. If it is accepted, there is no refund.

Using the Noghotok Mobile App
These terms cover the Noghotok Android app as well as the website. Your account, your biodata, your Credits and your proposals are the same on both — signing in on your phone does not create a separate account, and anything you do in one place shows up in the other.
Agreeing to These Terms
When you sign in, we check whether you have agreed to the current version of these terms. If we have published a new version since you last agreed, we will show it to you and ask you to accept it before you carry on.
You do not have to agree. If you decline, we will sign you out and you will not be able to use your account until you accept. Nothing is deleted when this happens — your biodata, Credits and proposal history stay exactly as they were, and everything comes back the moment you sign in and accept. Payments, Credits and Wallet
Credits may be purchased through the payment methods made available for your account, including EPS and Google Play Billing where offered. The available method, price, currency, and confirmation process are shown at checkout.
EPS payments are confirmed through EPS before Credits are added. Google Play purchases are processed by Google Play and must be associated with the NoGhotok account used for the purchase. We do not receive your full card or payment credentials. A confirmed purchase is added to the same NoGhotok wallet used across the app and website.
Credits are not cash, cannot be withdrawn, and have no value outside NoGhotok. Bonus Credits and expiry follow the pricing and wallet rules displayed at the time of the purchase.
Closing Your Account
You can ask us to delete your account and the personal information attached to it. Write to [email protected] from the email address registered on your account, or send the request from your registered mobile number.
We ask for this because deletion cannot be undone, and we need to be sure the request is really coming from you. Each request is checked by a person, not processed automatically, so please allow a few working days. If we cannot match the request to a registered email or mobile number, we will ask you for more information rather than guess.
Once verified, we remove your biodata from the site and delete the personal information in your account. Some records are kept afterwards where the law requires it — payment and Credit records for tax and accounting purposes, and information we may need to produce if a court, regulator or government authority formally asks for it. We keep these for that reason alone. They are not used to contact you, they are not shown to other users, and they are not used for any other purpose.
Unused Credits are not refundable when an account is closed. Please spend them or request any refund you are entitled to before asking us to delete the account.
Who Can Use Noghotok
Noghotok is for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to register, and we close accounts we find that belong to minors. If you believe a child has registered, tell us at [email protected] and we will look into it.
Anyone may browse the biodatas that are published. The age requirement applies to creating a biodata and to sending or receiving proposals: the birth year you give must show you are 18 or over, and the site will not accept a biodata that does not.
This is separate from the legal age of marriage, which is covered under "Marriage Liability" above.

For anything about these terms, your account, or a deletion request, write to [email protected]. You can also open a support ticket from the app or the website, which is usually faster because it comes to us already linked to your account.
